Any helpful hints on changing ball joints on a 2000 f-150???

Took my truck in to get it alligned and they said it needed new ball joints for $649.00. Looks like I%26#039;m mr.machanic for a while.|||Ball joints are a tough fix. Once you%26#039;ve removed the %26quot;a%26quot; frame you have to knock the old ones out,then you have to find someone to let you use they%26#039;re press to reinstall.If you have the tools and a %26quot;chiltons%26quot; for directions and tourque specs,go for it!My advice would be to find a reputable shop and hire it done.Save you%26#039;r knuckles and get a guarantee.
