If my cv joint pulled out when i was changing lower ball joint?

if my cv joint inner pulled out when i was changing the lower ball joint if i put it back in it will go back in when i rotate it it just popped back into place and put the ball joint and control arm back in willit be ok, or are there some clips iside that would be damaged?|||yea there is a lil %26quot;C%26quot; shaped clip one the part that goes into the trans they are hard to get in sometime you just have to push really hard mabe even get a dead blow hammer and beat on it a lil but it will go and snap in DONT PULL it once u get it in or you will ruin the cv joint but if u need some more pointers just msg me and i will be glad to help|||there is special reusable retainer on the end of the cv shaft that holds it in. as long as you got it all the way back in, it will be ok
