Changing ball joints on a 97 s-10?

its a 2 wheel drive, just wondering how hard it is, i can do most anything, but have never done ball joints so was just wondering--anything i should know??|||The ball joints are not pressed in on a chevy s10. They are riveted from the factory. You will need an air grinder and a very strong air hammer to do this yourself. Once you get the rivets out and the old ball joints out, the new ones will bolt. The new bolts will come with the new ball joints. Also make sure to check out the rest of the front end, idler arm, center link, upper control arm bushings, if they are all good then go get a four wheel alignment done afterwards.|||i have never done them on a s10 but i will tell yaou you will most likely need a ball joint press(alot of places will rent them) but ball joints are not that hard on other vehicles so it should be ok on a s10|||air chisel works really well then the joints will fall out with a good smack. You can do it in about 2 hours.
