How do i change a lower ball joint for a 1993 S10 Chevy Blazer 4WD?

how would i change that and approx. how much would some1 charge me to change it at a repair shop? thanks for the help.

You will need air tools or a torch to get the rivets out...unless they have been replaced before, because then they will be bolted in place...deffinetly not a job for someone who is not sure of their abilities...I think the job would call for around 2-3 hours, and depending on what the shop charged per hour would be a close estimate on the work...and whatever they charge for an alignment

alot of work you shouldv have air compressor first take cotter keys out take nuts off upper and lower joints dis connect brake caliper by two bolts support caliper take tie rod nut off outer one remove rotor spin off axle nut bring flush with axle hit ball joints on side till lose hammer out shaft spin axle nut off remove steering knuckle assembly if ball joints are rivet in origanals are chisel off replace and if you are doing lower might as well do all 4 needsc to be aligned after done they charge any where from 300-400 to do this and does not include parts
it depends...just briefly enquire about the ball joint...best if you go to the mechanic's rather than fixing by yourself.
