I recommend getting the Haynes or Chilton's manual for your truck, either of which will have step-by-step instructions for balljoint replacement. Most autoparts stores carry either Haynes or Chilton's manuals.
Replacing the balljoints in your truck will be complicated by the fact it is a 4x4, but it can be done.
