Installing ball joints?

i have a 88 olds delta 88 and it has ball joints on the rear,so i was wondering hows the easiest way to change them on the back.any answer is appreciated.

the process is almost the same for the rear,,as it is for the front,,just a little easier,,if you don't have the proper tool,s you might be better off taking it in,,and having it done,,otherwise,,you go about it jut like it was the front,but be care full i do this for a living,,and you can get hurt doing this,,i hope this help,s.

you do not have ball joints on the back of that car.

You may be mistaking the sway bar ends.



you need to see a mechanic.
im not sure on the 88 but usually balljoints are pressed in.....if they are you will need a tool to do it with, its usually an ultra heavy duty looking C-clamp thing with different attachments.....depending on where you live you may be able to rent the tool...to buy would be expensive probably....or u could pull the arms off and run them to a machine shop and let them push u in some new ones for a few bucks......like i said tho im only guessing on the settup....you might be lucky and theyre bolted in or somthing....you may also need a spring compressor and definitely a floorjack...check out a manual....



...and u do have balljoints in the back i just looked it up....
cut the entire thing out with a cutting torch
